How I arrived at Sweetgum Labs
I’ve spent the first 18 years of my career gaining perspective from various aspects of financial services including; Banking, Wirehouse Brokerages, Insurance, Discount brokerage, financial planning boutique and portfolio management. This experience has led me to form an opinion that there is a huge opportunity for improvement in financial planning. Some firms may get closer to what I view as ideal, but the combination to unlocking maximum effectiveness is at least slightly out of alignment. While perfection is not possible, I am leveraging my experience to improve this profession to how I believe will most benefit you the client.

Favorite Part of the Job
Paradigm shifts. When I can educate a client to the point that they rewire their brain to think differently, that is how I calculate success. It takes time for successful people to change behaviors, but patience and respectful persistence will pay off and we promise you both.

When I am not working
You will typically find me spending most of my free time with my children. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking and biking. I’m a huge craft beer enthusiast and enjoy exploring new breweries. I also enjoy visiting new major league and collegiate stadiums.
